Summary of my virtual experience

What I liked best about this virtual experience would be that I get to meet and make new friends without actually going over to their country, which means that it is free! It enables me to save money and yet get to interact with people from all over the world.

I don't really see any special behaviors or ethics when meeting my new friend on Second Life. It's just like meeting any other person for the first time.

Meeting a new friend from Hong Kong was definitely an interesting and fun experience. I gained quite a bit of knowledge from this e-learning experience for I got to know a bit more about the shopping habits of their people online.

Search the Google way.

When you don't know where to find a place or need help looking for some data for your school work where do you go? Well, you can search for all these and more on Google.com.

I must say, i'm quite impressed with Google's search functions. With just a simple keyword and a click, you can search for a wide variety of things. Google is a powerful search engine indeed!

Participating in discussion forum helps in my research. I do not really feel anxious about talking to other people that I do not know because I feel that I can learn something from them too.

Citation and bibliography are like acknowledgement to the author.

To be online or face-to-face ?

Online discussion is definitely a different experience compared with the traditional face-to-face in-class discussions. Well because on online discussion, one can freely talk about one's view on the topic.
Let's say for example, today's lesson about discussion forum on Facebook Group. I felt that I could freely express my views as long as I know I am not saying anything insulting or damaging to anyone. I believe other people would free the same way too.

Most people would prefer online discussion than face-to-face discussions. I find that most of the time in face-to-face discussions, not much people are willing to share their views with others on a certain topic or they could be just shy to speak up. But when it is changed to a online discussion, there are bound to be a lot of replies and comments.

I find this online activity meaningful as I know there is a place where I can freely express my view on a topic without much disturbance.

What I have learnt today ?

Internet is a place where a wide variety of information is being stored. It connects the world together and allows us to have easy access to any information or services, with just a simple click.

Social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc have people connected to one another anytime, anywhere from computers to mobile phones.
Many people are using the Internet to market and advertise about their products.
Even magazines are no longer a thick book that one would have to carry around, they can be download or read online.

The Internet is growing wider day by day, reaching out to more and more people and it's resources expanding rapidly too.

E-Shopping !!

I found this Casio multi-accompaniment system keyboard on e-Bay and I am interested in getting it.
The reason why I chose this keyboard is because :
-I have always wanted my own keyboard but brand new ones are very expensive. Therefore, because the keyboard is second hand, the pricing seemed reasonable.
-The keyboard does not seem to be very old, and is in a good condition.
-It also has quite a lot of functions too.


The purpose of the website that I have visited was business/marketing. It allows people to buy and sell their product online.

I'm Just A Beginner.

-A hobby that I'm passionate about would be photography.
-One tip to learn would be to take that camera and start snapping some photos.
